Admission requirements
- Documented institutional identity: the repository belongs to a verifiable Algerian university, research centre or scientific institution.
- A genuine digital repository: a platform that preserves and provides access to digital scholarly documents (articles, theses, reports, data…) with per-document metadata.
- Working link: a publicly accessible website.
- Basic description: name, parent institution, short description, content types.
- Verification: a national editor confirms the information from a reliable source.
Recommended (not mandatory)
- A valid OAI-PMH endpoint supporting
oai_dc. - Published open access, deposit, licensing and preservation policies.
What is not a repository
Library catalogues (OPACs), journal portals, data aggregation platforms and general institutional websites. They may be described in the directory under their own type but are not counted in the total of eligible repositories.
